Application & Screening Policy

At SSG Properties, we believe in transparency and fairness throughout the application process. To help reduce unnecessary costs for prospective tenants, we've structured our screening process as follows:

  Step 1: Free Initial Application

• You may apply for any available unit without paying an application or screening fee upfront.
• Your application will be reviewed based on the information you provide.

  Step 2: Pre-Approval Review

• After reviewing all applications, we will contact select applicants who meet our initial criteria.
• Being contacted does not guarantee final approval, but indicates you are being considered seriously.
• We will then meet and tour the property to ensure you are interested in proceeding.

  Step 3: Background & Credit Screening

• If you are selected as a potential tenant, you will be invited to complete a formal background and credit check.
• This screening is conducted through a secure third-party service and requires a non-refundable fee, typically paid directly to the screening provider.
• Screening includes credit, criminal history, eviction records, and income verification.

We value your time and aim to make the rental process as simple and fair as possible.
